Re: Grown Men Using Children's Scooters
Ex pros, really? Who?

I don't discredit anyone who disagrees with me, where did you get that from? I said that I don't tend to bother with journalists who have never even stepped foot on a football pitch. Stop trying to put words into my mouth.

It doesn't matter who sides with Martin, you don't like the bloke for whatever reason and want him to fuck up to back your point you don't believe he's good enough.

It's poor form, even for you.

goose 1:40 Mon Jan 13
Re: Grown Men Using Children's Scooters
so basically you dont believe anybody who doesnt agree with you?
ex pros watching the game blamed martin.
every journo watching the game blames martin.

yeh its not difficult to understand, for everyone apart from you.

Block 1:38 Mon Jan 13
Re: Grown Men Using Children's Scooters
goose, I pay little to no attention to these columnists who have never stepped foot on a football field. I suggest you also do the same.

He is useless with his feet, hence why he completely fucked up a very simple pass.

It's not difficult to understand mate,

goose 1:23 Mon Jan 13
Re: Grown Men Using Children's Scooters
the facts in your mind maybe.

so why does every media outlet available attribute it as Martin's mistake?

you're right, Balbauna isnt great with his feet, he's even worse when the pass is a foot away from him.

Block 1:21 Mon Jan 13
Re: Grown Men Using Children's Scooters
I don't need to justify the level of football I've played at to some twonk with an agenda against our keeper.

Facts are that Belbuena fucked up, Not martin, it wasn't a difficult pass to get under control but Balbuena cannot trap a bag of sand.

Carry on though, it's amusing you continually make yourself look a tit.

goose 1:09 Mon Jan 13
Re: Grown Men Using Children's Scooters
everything you've said suggests you havent.
no-one who's played would talk about his body position, where do want him? side on??

literally every neutral who watched the game knows it was Martins fault.
you are making excuses for him because you are worried about losing an argument.

he simply isn't an adequate sub keeper.

goose 1:07 Mon Jan 13
Re: Grown Men Using Children's Scooters
Mail:
West Ham's substitute keeper David Martin responded to Fabian Balbuena's call for a pass from a goal kick only for terrible execution to wrong-foot his team mate
standard:
Oli McBurnie’s goal after a howler from substitute goalkeeper David Martin
sky:
David Martin, who had replaced the injured Lukasz Fabianski before half-time, misplaced a goal-kick straight to John Fleck eight minutes after half-time, and the Scot teed up his compatriot McBurnie to bundle in the opener from close range.

Block 1:05 Mon Jan 13
Re: Grown Men Using Children's Scooters
I did, at a decent level as well but that's besides the point.

The point is, you're looking for a reason to justify your opinion, unfortunately because of Balbeunas body position he completely made a hash of a situation that should never have occurred.

You can keep making yourself look silly mate, you've shown yourself up that you'd rather the player make a mistake to justify your point then us actually win/nick a result.

Poor form.

goose 1:03 Mon Jan 13
Re: Grown Men Using Children's Scooters
his positioning?? hahahaha you literally have no idea about football - have you ever played the game?

where should he have been to recieve that? other than running towards Martin?

read every match report you can find and every one of them blames Martin.

Block 1:02 Mon Jan 13
Re: Grown Men Using Children's Scooters
*throws arms up in the air*

Well that's that then, If the BBC said it was a mistake it must be true....

FFS.

Block 1:01 Mon Jan 13
Re: Grown Men Using Children's Scooters
It wasn't his fault, Balbeuna's positioning was all wrong.

Fact is you don't rate him, so will look for any excuse to back this up with any mistakes he makes.

Unfortunately for you, this wasn't his mistake and you're just looking like a bit of a cunt wanting him to make mistakes so you can say I told you so.

Not a good day for you, again.

goose 1:01 Mon Jan 13
Re: Grown Men Using Children's Scooters
Little quote from the BBC match report:

John Fleck took advantage of a big mistake by substitute goalkeeper David Martin, latching on to his wayward pass to tee up Oli McBurnie

goose 12:58 Mon Jan 13
Re: Grown Men Using Children's Scooters
in that situation it has to go into his feet, doesnt fucking matter about any other scenario.
if you cannot make that pass you dont deserve to be a professional footballer - especially not in the PL.

the goal is 100% down to Martin, if you cannot see that then you are the cunt.

stick to your arguments on Brexit - football isn't for you.

Block 12:55 Mon Jan 13
Re: Grown Men Using Children's Scooters
No I wasn't, I was highlighting that passes are not often directly to their team mates feet. You are a little thick, aren't you?

No, being cuntish is wanting a player of the team you support to fuck up badly to emphasize your point.

Is Martin the best keeper? No. Is he decent enough for a number 2? Yes.

goose 12:53 Mon Jan 13
Re: Grown Men Using Children's Scooters
hahaha you trying to pretend he played it into space for him!! stop making excuses for his shitty pass.
in that circumstance you'd play it into his feet.

whats cuntish is having that clown in goal.

and yes i am a west ham fan, hence i dont want us giving away ridiculous goals coz we've tried to save a few quid on goalkeepers.

Block 12:48 Mon Jan 13
Re: Grown Men Using Children's Scooters
Players often pass the ball ahead of their team mate for multiple reasons, however Martin passed the ball to Balbuena who dropped short and couldn't sort his fucking feet out.

It's clear you don't like Martin, but to want him to make mistakes to prove your point is rather cuntish.

And you call yourself a West Ham fan.

goose 12:46 Mon Jan 13
Re: Grown Men Using Children's Scooters
within a yard?? fucking me thats ok then.
professional footballer can pass to teammates give or take a yard either way.
it was an awful pass which he also managed to bend away from Balbuena.

and then he dived over the ball.

i dont want him to make mistakes but i wont make excuses for him either. Roberto does that and you'd be calling for him to be dropped.

he's simply not good enough.

Block 12:43 Mon Jan 13
Re: Grown Men Using Children's Scooters
Firstly, the ball was played within a foot of Balbeuna, he couldn't sort his feet out for whatever reason which is why the player intercepted it, nothing to do with Martins pass.

Secondly, Martin was also on 1 side of the goal, having to dive almost the full length. On another day it would have hit him straight in the chest but it went under him.

Still, It's sad to see you wanting a player to make a mistake to prove your point. Very sad.

goose 12:03 Mon Jan 13
Re: Grown Men Using Children's Scooters
i blame Martin for not being able to pass a ball accurately over 20 yards!! i'd make that pass with my eyes closed.

i blame Balbuena for thinking it was a good idea to drop short. why did he do that? because Martin cannot kick for shit and they dont trust him. the experts on here tell me it doesnt matter if he cannot use his feet.

he even fucked up a simple save when the fella scored.

be honest, he's shit.

Block 11:53 Mon Jan 13
Re: Grown Men Using Children's Scooters
I knew you'd blame Martin for Balbena's lack of ability.

Good to see you want him to fail to prove your point. Sad really.

goose 11:51 Mon Jan 13
Re: Grown Men Using Children's Scooters
Bolty remind me how Martin is an adequate #2 keeper..........
